I’m getting prepped for our Thanksgiving dinner! Love the fall family time.
Our schedule is jammed pack for the next month! Between work and daily stuff (bowling, dance, girl scouts…) weekends are also spent doing craft shows!
We are looking forward to visiting friends in CA for Thanksgiving.
Right now, I am getting ready for two family Thanksgiving dinners.

I will most definitely be doing a lot of sweeping, if not raking, just to be able to find my porch!

Well the husband and I sold our house so we are camping out at my parents this fall and my mom is hosting Thanksgiving for everyone for the first time while we are here.
I’m busy trying to get my head around a new job.
I am also finishing off my Christmas shopping. I have a surgery planned for the beginning of December so I hope to have all of my ducks in a row.

The only plans we have so far are for Thanksgiving. We decided we are going to have our Turkey dinner on Wednesday evening and then on Thanksgiving, we are going to do an appetizer day. We always seem so full on Thanksgiving from the appetizers that by the time we get to the turkey, none of us are really hungry – so we decided to do it this way and see how that works out.

Fall is usually a ‘down time’ for us, trying to keep it simple & not too busy. Just getting ready for Christmas. But I’m so looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, since my hubby’s family & my sister & mom are staying with us for Thanksgiving! Hooray…it’ll be such fun family time!
My sister in law is visiting in November from London with my niece! I plan on spending a lot of family time with them!

I am actually doing my “spring” cleaning this fall. Started this past weekend cleaning out my kitchen cupboards.
I plan on making some bean chili in the crockpot.
I’m a Food Historian. November is one of my busiest, most hectic month second only to December! I am planning on an Historical reenactment Thanksgiving, not sure which theme to go with. Maybe a “Yooper’s” Thanksgiving since I live in Grand Marais MI.
Nailing down a schedule seems like a dream to me. I take notes about things I need to do, lose the notes, get a headache from trying to remember said notes And finally I just wing it. Stupid notes made me lose half a day.
I’m lucky if I can remember to buy dog food and milk!
We’re planning a road trip to my hometown to visit my parents.

We are planning on going on a big trip for black friday, just us girls! So I am super excited about that, and then we are planning a trip to VEGAS! So my fall is going to be jam packed with fun 🙂

About the only thing I’m doing this Fall is getting my garden covered with mulch for the winter. I also have a few crafty projects I’d like to get started with once the weather gets too cold to be outside.
