  • My favorite moment from July was finding a tiny feral kitten, who I bought into our house on July 6th and who I have been bottle feeding ever since. She’s the sweetest little kitten, and after losing our senior cat back in February, we seemed to be one cat short at our house. Once she’s older and fully adjusted to living at our house, I want to adopt another rescue houd (I was up to five, but lost two over the past year and a half).

  • July wasn’t a good month for me. It’s been too hot here in the Nevada desert. I’ve been sick, and I’ve spent pretty much the whole month in bed! The prior month we bought season passes for the family (6 of us) to the water park, and they are really upset they didn’t get to go the whole month! Our wedding anniversary is coming up (8/5) and I’m just hoping things are better by then and that it cools off enough not to melt us when we try to go outside!
