I was given the opportunity to review the NIV Adventure Bible, The Polar Exploration Edition. Adventure Brand Bible has sold over 9 million copies and now it’s in a new, exciting Polar theme!
I honestly thought that the NIV Adventure Bible, Polar Exploration Edition is a great Bible for children ages 8-12. I think it would be appropriate for boys and girls alike. It is written in words that they can understand and “boxed off” areas to attract children’s attention to draw out certain points and certain scriptures.
I read explanations about yokes, spiritual gifts, your part of being in a happy family and many more. These were ALL great points and all questions I’ve been asked as a Sunday School teacher. It outlines a two week reading plan, which is so helpful. That doesn’t overwhelm children at that age and it gives them something to look forward to each day.
The images are bright and your children will love animals and “adventures” they are led on. Polar bears, penguins, wolves, Seals and more animals can be found in the very vibrant images. I’ve listed the features the Bible below-
