I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it on here before but Michael is a meat and potato eater (and that is final). He’s not a large man, he is very, very fit. Gracie is a chicken person, sometimes a hamburger and ohhh tacos (she loves them).
Usually, I cook for Gracie because Michael knows that I can’t cook the way he wants me to fix his red meat. I’m really a terrible cook. That’s the truth. Gracie is a good girl and will eat ANYTHING I cook (if it’s ingredients she likes). Well, I love to eat what Gracie eats. We’ve eat these meals forever!
Guess what! I’m not tempted. I cooked cinnamon rolls for her breakfast this week and I didn’t eat one. It wasn’t hard to even avoid them. I don’t want the food I use to eat. Honestly. I’m not telling you that just to “try to make you believe me”. I’m being honest. Gracie had Chicken nuggets and french fries on the way to a pageant last night. They smelled good, but I didn’t want one!
I’m very happy eating my food and eating my “lean and grean” at night time. You can actually eat that lean and green anytime. I can eat chili, cake, brownies, biscuits- just so many things! I eat SO many more times than I did before I started this “Change Of Life” (diet). I just ate all bad stuff, really bad stuff.
I honestly see this being a life long “Change of Life” for me. I want to be here for my daughter when she get’s married and when she has her children. I want to play with those grandchildren without my arthritis holding me up. I’m not doing this FOR Gracie, I’m doing it for ME, so I can be there for Gracie.
