Was one of your New Year’s Resolutions to Lose Weight? If it was, then you might need some help keeping up with the size of your portions. I know that’s one of my problems. I tend to think a bowl of cereal is one of those bowls that Jethro ate out of in the Beverly Hillbillys. An Eat Smart Precision Elite Kitchen Scale can help you with your portion sizes. It can even help you determine the calories of some foods by using the calorie-factor assigned in the booklet provided along with the scale.
The scale will weigh your food in 4 different units: grams, kilograms, ounces and pounds. You can easily change it by pressing the unit button on the left hand side of the scale. The scale also has a tare function. I like this! You can weigh your items on your plate and not worry about the plate’s weight. Just place your plate on the platform, then press the tare button and presto– you are back to zero. Then you add the food you want to weigh, no problems at all!
The Precision Elite will weigh your items up to 15 pounds. It has an extra large stainless steel platform to weigh your items on. This would look great in any kitchen! Check out this video of me measuring out my Peanut Butter Cheerios. I love those things!
