When she was little, it was the movie Babe. She wanted to watch the “PIG” all the time. I hated the “PIG” by the time it was over. It was a great movie, the first 10 times, but by the time you have to by a replacement video because that one has broken- it’s really not that great of a movie any more.
Dora- I loved Dora. (At first)- There’s just so many times you can watch it. Over and Over and Over and Over.
Then we progressed Sponge Bob and honestly, she still watches Sponge Bob, I don’t think Sponge Bob will ever get old to her. She watched it with her Dad and it just holds a special place in her heart. She watches it almost everyday. I think Sponge Bob is LOUD. The characters speak loudly. It makes my head hurt. But I can tolerate it because she doesn’t sit and watch it constantly.
She’s been thru some great shows that I must confess that I have caught myself watching even when she leaves the room, like iCarly or Victorious. The best show that she watches right now is Good Luck Charlie. I really haven’t found anything wrong with it and I even wanted to watch the episode where Mom was having the baby.
Here’s why I’m writing this post- Gracie loves Nanny 911. We have streaming Netflix. She wants to watch it continuously now. It drives me crazy. I can’t believe how some of those parents act. I bet you thought I would say “how some of the kids act”. Well I probably should but if the parents acted differently, the kids probably would too.
I make it sound like Gracie watches tv all the time, she doesn’t. She does like noise though. She doesn’t even play video games that often. Gracie spends most of her time doing crafts. She’s just a girl that has to keep her hands busy 🙂
So- do your kids ever get stuck on certain programs? What are they?
